Chevrolet Motor Division

1960's Chevrolet

1967

New for the 1967 model year Chevrolet has rolled out a brand new car to compete with the Ford Mustang. Its been two and a half years since the pony cars introduction and Chevrolet has some ground to make up. The Caprice / Impala once again gets new sheet metal on the front and rear. The Nova bodystyle basically stays the same but this will be the last year for the Nova station wagon. The Chevelle gets new front and rear sheet metal. This will be the last year for the fastback design the Corvette has enjoyed since 1963, and finally this year is the last for the Corvair four door, other than that the Corvair remains unchanged.
